What We Do

We started the ATTAC Society 8 years ago as group of young doctors who wanted to make health care facilities more affordable and accessible to the people of the lower socio economic strata in the rural and semi-rural areas.

Chronic diseases like cancer (oral, breast and cervical), diabetes, anemia, lung disorders, heart problems go unnoticed and undiagnosed because in far flung areas because of lack of early diagnosis services. By the time they are diagnosed, they reach a severe stage of disease and treatment becomes both costly and time taking.

We have been doing this work on our own by consistently partnering with over 200 NGOs which run old age homes, orphanages, de-addiction centers; schools and colleges; hospitals; prisons, village panchayats across the country. Our project locations have been in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Manipur, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Chandigarh, and Madhya Pradesh where we have conducted health-based camps to make sure that problems such as diseases are diagnosed at an early stage and treated well.

Till now, we have helped around more than 50,000 people in total and would like to continue our efforts to help more people.

Our Approach for Cancer Awareness, Cancer Screening and Tobacco Cessation Counseling

The idea is to first create awareness about the camp so that people from neighborhood areas can attend.

We will partner with local panchayats or local leaders in the area to spread the word.

Our doctors will then proceed to perform the checkups and refer the patients to nearby hospitals, where they can get an appointment for a heavily discounted rate.
